Guild Wars 2 Halloween Achievements

Shadow of the Mad King is the celebration of Halloween in Guild Wars 2.This fantastic event starts on the October 22 and runs to the 31 st. The event is divided into 4 acts and you can find more details here.

Guild Wars 2 Shadow of the Mad King Achievements

The Mad King event has also brought some brand new achievements that can be done only during this festivitie. These achievements have now their own category called Special Event. Here are all the achievements:

Attend the Party – I hear the jokes are to die for! [1]
Emissary of the Mad King -  You’ve made the Mad King proud. He’ll kill you last. Halloween Achievements: [5]
Halloween Events Completed – The Mad King’s events used to knock ‘em dead. [1,2,3,4]
Halloween Huntin’ -  How does one stuff a candy corn elemental? [20,40,60,80,100]
It’s a Mad King’s World – Explore the Mad Realm…or die trying. [4]
Mad King’s Clock Tower – Jump, jump, jump for your life. Fall, fall, fall and you die! Puzzle Achievement
Pumpkin Carving – Find pumpkins all around Tyria and carve them. [1,25,75,150]
Trick or Treat bags opened. – Free candy! Yay! [10,20,30,40]

Here are some tips for completing the achievements:

1. You can find pumpkins in Lions Arch and other human locations like Queensdale. Click on the links to see the pumpking locations. All the achievements are account bound so you can do carve the same pumpkins more than once….with different alts, after reloging and by going into overflow servers.

2. You can find candy corn by mining it(it appears as a mine node on the map), opening Trick or Treat bags or buying it on the trading post.

3. Trick or Treat bags are dropped as loot from random mobs. Also kids will approach you and you can exchange candy corn(10, 25, or 50) for a bag. As candy corn you can buy them of the trading post.

Troll’s End Achievement Guide In Guild Wars 2

Troll’s End is an Explorer Achievement that you get upon completing a jumping puzzle located in Lion’s Arch. It has been modified from its original version and now is more of a challenge. To get to it you have to jump trough a chimney looking thing near the vista on the pole in Lion’s Arch.

In this video by Nomad you will see exacltl where to go and where to jump to get the achievement.

At the end of the of the jumping puzzle you get the achievement and a chest with a random item in it. Be also sure to have harvesting sickles equipped as there are some herb patches on a ledge near the end of the puzzle.

Guild Wars 2 Hero Achievements Guide

The Hero achievements in Guild Wars 2 are of two types.

The first achievements are earned by advancing in your personal story and all have only 1 tier.

The second type of hero achievements are earned by doing events and completing hearts. There is also one title – Been There, Done That – to acquire.

Guild Wars 2 PvP Conqueror Achievements Guide

Pvp Conqueror achievements consist in only six achievements in three main areas of player versus player environments.

Two achievements are earned in regular pvp matches, two are earned in tournament pvp matches and the remaining two are earned in WvW (world versus world) battles.

The Tradesman achievements consists of a variety of different achievements which you earn by crafting items from the eleven different crafting professions and also by salvaging and gathering.

There are also achievements that regard item modifications such as transmuting and upgrading items.

The last three achievements are earned by spending, earning and banking gold.

There are two titles that you can get; Master Crafter and Golden.

Guild Wars 2 allows players to change the crafting disciplines, for a fee, without loosing all the crafting recepies, so you can max out all the crafting professions on one character, but you will be only be able to use two at one time.

Also anyone can gather anything and nodes can be used by different players.

Guild Wars 2 Explorer Achievements Guide

Explorer achievements in GW2 are obtained by exploring the different zones of the massive world of Tyria. Each area has a different number of areas that you have to discover to get the achievement.

There are also three achievements that don’t consist in exploring maps and two of them will give you titles; Dungeon Master and Treasure Hunter. Obtaining these two achievements is the prerequisite to unlocking two more achievements; Hobby Dungeon Explorer and Hobby Treasure Hunter.

Guild Wars 2 Fashion Achievements Guide

There are only five fashion achievements in Guild Wars 2, one for each playable race.

The fashion achievement consists of getting different pieces of specialty armors from the asura, char, human, sylvari and norn races. Each achievement has 4 tiers.

Guild Wars 2 Weapon Master Achievements Guide

The Weapon Master achievements in Guild Wars 2, as the name suggests, is all about using and mastering all of the 16 different weapon types that are found in the game. Each weapon has 3 tiers of completion.

As each profession can only use some types of weapons, to coplete all of the weapons master achievements you will need multiple characters with different professions. You can do it with a minimum of three specific profession combinations as some weapons like the short bow can only be used by a thief or ranger.

There are also four achievements that take in account the type of damage that you do; melee, ranged, magic and siege.  These achievements all have 7 tiers.

These achievements won’t be hard to obtain as long as you switch weapons and have at least three characters with different professions in the right combination -  the warrior profession seem to be a crucial one, as it is able to use 4 weapons (hammer, mace, longbow, rifle) that only one other profession can use.

 

Guild Wars 2 Community Achievements Guide

There are only five Community achievements in Guild Wars 2 and are mostly earned by doing social accolades such as drinking, eating and reviving your friends.

Two of the community achievements give you titles and the remaining three have each 5 tiers.
